I can't pick just one event--all of them have affected and defined me (or redefined, in some cases) in some form. I learn something new almost every day. I think if you aren't learning SOMETHING from your experiences, then you need to rewind and pay closer attention.
What decision changed the course of your life?

When I decided to come to Philadelphia for the summer after I graduated high school in Missouri -- way back in 1991. I was here two weeks and decided not to go back and go to Mizzou as I had intended. And the rest, you might say, is history.
What would you consider to be your 15 minutes of fame so far in life?
Right now. Having one of my blogs featured on Vox's main page. It was a little freaky at first but seeing all the comments of those who can relate to it is just amazing.
